Game Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 23, 2026
Introduction
Dirt Bike Dialed: The Game ("the game," "we," "our," or "us") is developed and operated by Digital VisionWorks LLC, located at 690 Amador LN #4, West Palm Beach, FL 33401, United States. This policy explains what the game collects, why, and how you can delete it. It covers the Windows game and its online leaderboards. The Dirt Bike Dialed maintenance app has its own privacy policy.
The game collects only what its online features need. It shows no ads, uses no advertising or behavioral analytics SDKs, and we will never sell your data.
For privacy questions or requests, contact privacy@dirtbikedialed.com.
What stays on your PC
Your saved records, personal ghosts, bike and rider customization, settings, Workshop tracks and photos are stored on your own computer. They are not sent to us unless you post a time, upload a ghost or share a track as described below. Riding offline sends nothing.
Information the online features collect
Your rider account
- A rider account is created automatically when the game first connects. It is identified by a random ID, not your name or your Steam account.
- The rider name you choose, your plate number and your bike color, shown beside your times.
- Your email address, only if you choose to add one so you can sign in on another computer. It is used to send sign-in codes and is never shown to other players.
Leaderboards and ghosts
- Finish times you post, with the track, the date, the game version and the platform.
- Ghosts: recordings of how your bike and rider moved during a run, so other players can race them. They contain movement data only.
Shared tracks and friends
- Tracks you choose to share, saved under a share code. Anyone with the code can download the track, which may include your rider name as its author.
- Friend codes, friend requests, friends and blocked riders.
Technical information
- Our online service provider records your IP address and basic connection details when the game connects, for security and abuse prevention.
- The Unity engine sends anonymous hardware statistics to Unity Technologies, such as your graphics card, processor, memory and Windows version. This is not linked to your rider.
What we do not collect
- Payment or credit card details. If you buy the game through Steam, Valve handles the purchase under its own privacy policy.
- Your location, contacts or files outside the game's own save folder.
- Advertising identifiers or behavioral tracking data.
What is public
Your rider name, plate number, bike color, posted times, weekly and all-time rankings and ghosts are visible to other players. Shared tracks are visible to anyone with their code. Your email address is always private.
How we use your information
- Running the leaderboards, ghosts, friends and track sharing
- Signing you in on another computer when you add an email
- Keeping the leaderboards fair, including removing cheating or abusive names
- Fixing problems and answering your requests
Service providers
Supabase, Inc. hosts the leaderboards, rider accounts and shared tracks on servers in the United States, with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Unity Technologies receives the anonymous hardware statistics described above. Both act on our behalf or under their own policies and do not receive your data for advertising.
Deleting your rider
You can delete your rider and everything online that belongs to it at any time:
- In the game: Settings, Rider account, Your data, Delete my rider. Deletion is immediate and removes your rider name, times, ghosts, shared track codes and friends on every device.
- By email: write to privacy@dirtbikedialed.com from the email on your rider, or include your rider name. We complete email requests within 30 days.
Deleting your rider does not remove records, ghosts or tracks saved on your own PC. Tracks that other players already downloaded stay on their computers.
Data retention
We keep your rider and its online data while the rider exists. Times from test builds may be cleared before release. If we must keep something longer for legal reasons or to prevent abuse, we keep only what is needed for that purpose.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including the European Union, the United Kingdom, and California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other US states, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict how we use it. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@dirtbikedialed.com. We respond within 30 days (EU and UK) or 45 days (US). EU users rely on our contract with you to provide the online features (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and on our legitimate interest in keeping them fair and secure (Article 6(1)(f)). You may also complain to your local data protection authority, or in the UK to the Information Commissioner's Office.
International transfers
Online data is stored and processed in the United States. For users in the EU, UK and elsewhere, these transfers rely on the safeguards our provider offers, including Standard Contractual Clauses.
Children
The game's online features are intended for players 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created a rider, contact privacy@dirtbikedialed.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the game develops. The effective date above shows the latest version. Material changes will be noted in the game or on this page.
